There are few things in life that are as exciting and rewarding as riding a horse. Winston Churchill once said that "Nothing does as much for the insides of a man than the outsides of a horse". We couldn't agree more. The intimate relationship that develops between a horse and it's master is a beautiful reflection of the relationship between ourselves and Jesus Christ.

With that as the basis of our lesson program we provide and opportunity for youth and adults to learn the fundamentals of horsemanship from the ground up. This includes horse care, grooming and stewardship as well as riding riding skills. We are focused on western riding skills, utilizing western saddles, however we focus on the fundamental skills of equitation (Horsemanship) that will benefit all riders regardless of riding discipline. Our goal is to teach solid, foundational horsemanship skills and foster a love and respect for horses that will translate into whatever trail you take in life.

We provide a safe, clean and enriching environment where individuals can come and be trainged in their horsemanship skills and encouraged in their faith.

Fees & Requirements:

Riding Lessons:
Our suggested lesson fee is $25.oo per lesson and each lesson typically lasts approximately 1 hour from start to finish. We require helmets for all riders and each student is required to fill out and sign a Rider Release before starting lessons. (For minors, the form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian)

The minimum age for riding students is 8 years old, however we will access each student based on individual merit.

Colts & Phillies Training:
We also offer a lesson program for little buckaroos 5 years old and up. The lessons are 1/2 hour long and provide instruction on grooming, tacking and general horse sense and include a "pony ride" on a lead rope for each student to begin to familiarize them with the experience of riding a horse. The suggested fee for Colts & Phillies Taining is $13.00.
