Our first Round Pen night of the fall season was a great time. There were more than 45 people who joined us and it was a great time for all. A special thanks to those who brought snacl & beverages to share! The lesson was truly a God thing as several of the guests shared that the topic of "Resting" in the Lord was something God was working on in their hearts all week. The round pen session was a great conformation.

We were able to let all those who wanted to ride a horse saddle up and the usual carpetball battles were present. There was also a great time of fellowshipping before and after the round pen. We thanks al,those in attendance and look forward to any new guests in the round pen nights yet to come!

Dean's Swamp Baptist Church recently spent a week with us on mission here at the ranch this past July. They served the ministry by helping with a variety of work and maintenance projects around the ranch. They also raised the funds to purchase materials and cover their expenses during their stay. We are so blessed by their support and friendship. The impact of their servants hearts will be a blessing to all who are touched by the ministry accomplished through Christ here at the ranch. Our recent mission trip this past July was an amazing time of ministry. I was able to bring my youngest son Joshua with me as I ministered to Don & Teena Lykins of Dakota Sonshine Ministry in Sisseton SD. They serve the people of the area including Native Americans and other people living on the reservation. I was able to help them by training Don and Teena's horses to help make them more suitable for use in their horse program. Working with theses horses opened up a tremendous opportunity to minister to Don & Teena and the other folks in their church who were able to hear the gospel through powerful parallels that exist between the horse and trainer and ourselves and God.

I was also able to counsel and encourage Don & Teena in their life living in ministry through the Grace of the Father. The impact of the 6 days was profound, and we are trying to raise support to enable another return trip again this year before the end of the summer weather. I hope you can help us raise the funds to enable us to make this important trip. (FYI, I was only able to make this trip by using our personal frequent flier miles and to pay for the rental car from Minneapolis, MN to Sisseton, SD as this was as close as my miles could get us! If you can help us cover the $650.00 this past trip cost and contribute to the cost for a return trip, it would be a great blessing!)

We were recently blessed to be a part of the Lowrys Baptist Church VBS this past July. The VBS had a western theme and was such a natural fit for us Cornerstone Ranch folks. We had a great time spending the week with them, our children participated in the activities, while Mark shared with the adults on their identity in Christ, and how God's grace and love is expressed in and through us as we walk in Him. It was a great week, complete with teaching time in the sanctuary and a great evening around the round pen as Mark taught an Unbridled presentation with Cody.

I was an awesesome week of fellowship and growth and we know we have found a herd of new brothers and sisters in Christ to enjoy and encourage. Thanks to all the awesome folks at LBC that made us feel so welcome and loved. By the way, if anyone is wondering, yep, they do know how to BBQ over there in Lowrys!
